1940 - A book entitled, The New World Order by H.G. Wells, in which Wells claims:   "It is the system of nationalist individualism that has to go....We are living in the end of the sovereign states....In the great struggle to evoke a Westernized World Socialism, contemporary governments may vanish....Countless people...will hate the new world order....and will die protesting against it."  H.G. Wells also wrote about this future world socialist government in his book The Shape of Things To Come which was also made into a feature film.                                                          H.G. 1953 - The Impact of Science on Society by Fabian Socialist Bertrand Russell is published in which he declares:  " I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is mass psychology....Various results will soon be arrived at:  that the influence of home is obstructive....although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class.  The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated.  When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen....Educational propaganda, with government help, could achieve this result in a generation.  There are, however, two powerful forces opposed to such a policy: one is religion; the other is nationalism....A scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is a world government.

The plan for a one world government and a one world religion goes all the way back to the Tower of Babel and the ancient Babylonian religions headed by Nimrod who was a prototype of the Antichrist.  In the Book of Daniel and in Revelation Chapters 17& 18 we see references to this final world empire.  The "Fourth Beast" or the "Revived Roman Empire."  But, many Bible scholars believe that a literal Babylon must be rebuilt which will be both a world economic center and a one world religious center. What makes this especially interesting is that the science fiction writer H.G. Wells called openly for a one world socialist government in his books like "The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution," "A New World Order" and "The Shape of Things To Come" which was made into a movie.  In these books Wells, a Fabian Socialist calls for a world socialist government run by some kind of scientific elite. 

In his 1933 book, "The Shape of Things to Come " Wells predicts that the headquarters of this world government would be in Basra, Iraq which is relatively near Babylon and modern Iran.  A year later the occult teacher Alice A. Bailey whose writings are channeled from a spirit guide. the Tibetan Master, Djwahl Kuhl.  Bailey wrote in The Externalization of the Hierarchy about "points of light" in connection with a "New Group of World Servers" and claims that 1934 marks the beginning of "the organizing of the men and women... group work of a new order... [with] progress defined by service... the world of the Brotherhood... the Forces of Light... [and] out of the spoliation of all existing culture and civilization, the new world order must be built."

In President George H. W. Bush's State of the Union Address, January 1991, President Bush talked about Iraq and used the words illumined:

"If anyone tells you America's best days are behind her, they're looking the wrong way.

Tonight, I come before this house, and the American people, with an appeal for renewal. This is not merely a call for new government initiatives, it is a call for new initiative in government, in our communities, and from every American—to prepare for the next American century.

America has always led by example. So who among us will set this example? Which of our citizens will lead us in this next American century? Everyone who steps forward today, to get one addict off drugs; to convince one troubled teen-ager not to give up on life; to comfort one AIDS patient; to help one hungry child.

We have within our reach the promise of renewed America. We can find meaning and reward by serving some purpose higher than ourselves—a shining purpose, the illumination of a thousand points of light. It is expressed by all who know the irresistible force of a child's hand, of a friend who stands by you and stays there—a volunteer's generous gesture, an idea that is simply right...."

This term "the illumination of a thousand points of light" is an occult term.  This term is used publicly by the same President Bush who openly spoke of a new world order.

Alice Bailey who channeled the words "points of light" in the book Externalization of the Hierarchy which was published by the Lucis Trust, incorporated originally in New York as the Lucifer Publishing Company. Lucis Trust is a United Nations NGO and is actively involved in U.N. summits. Assistant Secretary General of the U.N. Robert Mueller credited the creation of his World Core Curriculum for education to the underlying teachings of Djwahl Kuhl via Alice Bailey's writings on the subject.

In his 1939 book New World Order by H. G. Wells calls for  a collectivist one-world state"' or "new world order" comprised of "socialist democracies." He advocates "universal conscription for service" and declares that "nationalist individualism... is the world's disease."  President Obama called for a mandatory "civilian service."

In The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution  Wells writes:

"The political world of the ... Open Conspiracy must weaken, efface, incorporate and supersede existing governments... The Open Conspiracy is the natural inheritor of socialist and communist enthusiasms; it may be in control of Moscow before it is in control of New York... The character of the Open Conspiracy will now be plainly displayed... It will be a world religion."  Wells understood that a belief in a one world government would have to be religious in nature, there would have to be a coming one world religion.

The purpose of modern education is social engineering designed to program students into accepting this new world religion of global government.  In 1947  John Dewey, the father of American public education said that education must teach

"... establishment of a genuine world order, an order in which national sovereignty is subordinate to world authority... "

In 1947 National Education Association Associate Secretary William Carr writes in the NEA Journal that it is the job of teachers to::

"... teach about the various proposals that have been made for the strengthening of the United Nations and the establishment of a world citizenship and world government."

Simultaneously, the technology of mind control is advancing as quickly as computer technology or biotechnology.  In 1948 in his book Walden II behavioral psychologist B.F. Skinner proposes "a perfect society or new and more perfect order" in which children are to be raised by the State, rather than by parents or the family.  (This is the purpose of daycare starting at 3 years old ) According  to B.F. Skinner, who was photographed keeping his daughter in a box, children are trained or programmed from birth.  Skinner's theories on behavior modification or the brainwashing of children would be widely implemented by educators in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s as Values Clarification and Outcome Based Education.

As the momentum of this coming one world religion has increased the current Laodecian Church in America has been blind to both its reality and implications.  In 1974, The World Conference of Religion for Peace, is held in Belgium.  At that convention, Douglas Roche presents a report entitled We Can Achieve a New World Order and says:

"The U.N. calls for wealth redistribution: In a report entitled New International Economic Order, the U.N. General Assembly outlines a plan to redistribute the wealth from the rich to the poor nations."

In the last several months we have heard the term new international economic world order from leaders around the world.  Behind the financial meltdown there are a number of agenda's.  First, the establishment of a one world economic system and a cashless society.  Secondly, the establishment of a global government.  Third, the transfer of wealth from the American Middle Class and the Middle Class of other nations in order to artificially equalize the playing field.  What American Middle Class Christians and Christians from other nations do not understand is that there is an active plan to lower their standard of living.  There are a number of strategies for accomplishing this goal.  First, is outsourcing of jobs.  Second, is lowering the standard of living by destroying the values of the dollar and moving into a global currency.  Third, as the American automobile manufacturing giants collapse and America no longer makes a large number of cars, China is already manufacturing massive numbers of electrical cars. 

By using the fear of global warming, American and European consumers can be convinced to willingly give up their SUV's and drive Chinese made electrical cars.  In addition, the American Middle Class and their children are being programmed to willingly lower their standard of living through reduced energy consumption.  In practical terms that means public transportation instead of private cars, smaller houses, less food, bicycles and in general being happy with a Third World or Socialist standard of living.  Remember the elite, and that includes the elite environmentalists will give up nothing!

A new world order is being established and the capitol of Planet Earth may well be in Babylon and Basra.  Writing in 1932 in his book, The Shape of Things To Come: The Final Revolution which is the original full title Wells, projects that the first World Conference would be held in Basra, Iraq.  The Book of Revelation talks about a coming one world religion and a one world economic system.  Revelation 17 & 18 seems to indicate that its headquarters could be in Babylon, Iraq.

UNESCO,  the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is pumping millions of dollars into Babylon and several other historical sites in Iraq. With the help of private investors the UN is hoping to turn Babylon in to a thriving center of tourism and commerce. If everything goes according to plan, Babylon will be a cultural center complete with shopping malls, hotels, and maybe even a theme park.

Don’t be misled by confusing the Fall of Babylon in history with the Destruction of Babylon, as prophesied in the Bible. Many Bible handbooks, dictionaries, and commentaries give you the impression that Babylon was “destroyed” in 539 BC. But it is important to realize that when Cyrus the Great captured Babylon he was able to take it over without a battle. In fact, this feat is celebrated in the famed Cylinder of Cyrus that is featured in the British Museum in London. Babylon served as a secondary capital of the Persian Empire for two centuries until Alexander the Great conquered the Persians in 325 BC. He made it his capital; in fact, he died there. Four of his generals then divided up the empire, and subsequently Babylon gradually atrophied over the centuries.

After years of neglect, misuse and haphazard reconstruction of the ancient city of Babylon, a master plan is being developed for the restoration of the Mesopotamian site, in present-day Iraq. The project, called “The Future of Babylon,” was announced in a news release by the World Monuments Fund, which will collaborate with Iraq’s State Board of Antiquities and Heritage. Babylon endured numerous restoration and reconstruction projects during the reign of Saddam Hussein; it was heavily plundered after his fall, and used as the site of an American military base. The “Future of Babylon” project, financed by a $700,000 grant from the State Department, will map the city’s archeological sites, develop conservation plans and pursue possibilities for tourism and education.

Around the same time Wells writes his book, in 1933, 33rd  President FDR introduced the Great Seal on the back of the dollar bill, which still includes the Latin “Novus Ordo Seclorum” translating “New Secular Order” or “New World Order.” The term was next used by Thule secret society member Adolph Hitler when he claimed “National Socialism (Nazism) will use its own revolution for the establishing of a New World Order.”  The Thule Society had its roots connected to the same occult beliefs as Alice Bailey who channeled these words around 1934:

“Behind the division of humanity stand those Enlightened Ones whose right and privilege it is to watch over human evolution and to guide the destinies of men…This they do through the implanting of ideas in the minds of the world thinkers, so that these ideas in due time receive recognition and eventually become controlling factors in human life. They train the members of the New Group of World Servers in the task of changing these ideas into ideals. These in turn become the desired objectives of the thinkers and are then taught to the powerful middle class and worked up into world forms of governments or religion, thus forming the basis of the New World Order.” .

During the Great Depression large numbers of people built thriving businesses, acquired wealth and built great ministries during this time.

Today, the Federal Reserve is printing billions of dollars into the American and global financial system.  The net result will be a massive increase of interest on the debt that Americans owe to the Federal Reserve. (Remember the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with our government and is not Federal)  Essentially what this means billions of dollars that Americans owe to private international banks who actually own and run our financial system. Depending upon how this debt is monetized, it will impact our purchasing power, The value of the dollar of the dollar will drop. This may be provide the motivation for millions of Americans to accept the proposed merger of our currency with Canada and Mexico in the very near future.  Potentially it could create en environment where Americans will readily accept a complete merger of other nations in North and South America.  CAFTA, NAFTA and the “amero” dollar.  However, things could accelerate and instead of simply an “amero” dollar you would have the Special Drawing Rights-SDR which would create a new global currency consisting of the dollar, the euro, the British pound sterling and the Chinese yen.  The SDR is the currency of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.  A new global currency.

Ironically, the finance chiefs of five of the six-member, Gulf Corporation, which is rolling in oil money adopted a plan to create a single currency.  The six Islamic states are Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.  Oman pulled out last year.  These Middle Eastern nations who have hundreds of billions in oil wealth are targeted 2010 for the creation of their monetary union which will establish an Islamic single currency.  This follows the trend of leaving national currencies in favor of “regional currencies.”  The EU nations have abandoned their national currencies in favor of the “euro.”  You can guess what’s next on the horizon?  The U.S. adopting a common currency with Canada and Mexico or the “amero” dollar, or moving into an International currency consisting of the dollar, the Swiss Franc, the British pound sterling, the euro and the Chinese yen.  Either regional a regional currency, or an International currency.  A one world economic system incrementally, or in a bigger step.  What does that mean for you, your family and children?  It means major changes in the mortgage market in America.  The banks and investment firms that will own your mortgage will be International.  Maybe, British, Chinese or French?  Like the European Commonwealth America will transition into a more feudalistic arrangement.  The idea of o the American dream and owning your own home will be the exception.  Now, like Europe, middle class Americans will lease or pay a monthly rent for their homes.  The dream of owning your own home in America will be the exception because your standard of living is being adjusted and International banks will own your home.

I go into this in detail in the MP3.  But, this has been the game plan all along.  The Four Pillars of the U.N. Agenda.  Environmental which means the implementation of Agenda 21,Sustainable Development,Biodiversity, and the President’s Commission on Sustainable Development.  Bottom line- the whole Gore Agenda is about lowering the American standard of living to make it equal to Third World Nations.  Then there is the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, WTO, and Global Security and Exchange Commission.  I discuss it further in the MP3.

Harvard Economist Schumpeter called this “creative destruction” as a mechanism of saving capitalism.  However, in this case capitalism is saved by a massive wealth transfer from the middle class to International banks and the Federal Reserve. The U.S. economy and the prosperity of the last few decades has been created by debt:  mortgages, credit cards, home equity loans, lines of credit, auto loans, tuition loans, medical loans, Treasury bills, notes and bonds.  However, although there may be a percentage lowering of the American standard of living in order to artificially bring in line with the standard of living of other nations.  I believe that economic opportunities will continue to abound in the U.S. and for those who are diligent, educated, wise and prepared there still will remain tremendous economic opportunities.  In others words, in the U.S. people can still make money, build businesses, become entrepreneurs, and opportunity will continue to exist.  There are people today who are going to create the next Microsoft, Google, Starbucks, Ebay, biotech industries and so on.  It would be a serious mistake to get into a doom and gloom mindset.  Without question, there are going to be serious economic adjustments, the coming economic upheaval is going to affect many people adversely.  This is going to being about economic disruption, but not economic collapse.

It is important to understand that because many businesses, industries, and ministries will be launched and created during this time.  This means your children must continue to be educated at the highest levels possible, and adults must keep their eye on the bouncing ball.  Dave Hunt made the remark that economic prosperity will continue until a world charismatic leaders arrives and the word enters a Tribulation period.  This is not a time for a “bunker” mentality or you are going to miss incredibly opportunity.  I will go into this further at the Hilton Hotel meeting in Costa Mesa on October 16^th at 7PM and I am going to into this more in depth on the MP3 Download. Remember “as long as they sought the Lord they continue to prosper.”  That does not mean to you will be immune or not affected by the economic storm. But, “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread.”     

McGUIRE REPORT: PROPHECY, ECONOMIC MELTDOWN, ISRAEL & WHAT IS TO COME IN AMERICA

Alan Greenspan, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve stated that we are in the worst financial crisis of the last 100 years.  Yet, this crisis was predicted by a number or people before and there are some who speculate it is in some degree connected to our relationship with the nation of Israel.  I have just finished a third MP3 in a series entitled “Economic Meltdown, Israel and What is to Come in America?  I go into details and I invited you to our special meeting at the Hilton Hotel In Costa Mesa on October 16^th which is free, but you must pre-register by E Mail.

First, let’s look at a brief overview of the global financial crisis. Easy money and credit has been pumped into the U.S. economy by the Fed, for over a decade. A housing bubble has exploded and the crisis is now global.  Governments and economists are calling for the world to work together with a new international regulatory system and a global currency.  However, just like in the time of Joseph, God knew this was coming and has made provision for His people. I will discuss this more in detail on the MP3.  But, first let’s understand the dynamics of what is now happening in America and around the world.

The financial crisis is now global; that means across the world governments must work together in new a global economic system to survive. The financial Meltdown is spreading across the Atlantic into major banks all over Europe. The German government just spent $51 billion in loans borrowed from German banks and the German government to save Hypo Real Estate, the country’s second-biggest property lender.  Hypo Real Estate was just one of five major banks in seven European countries bailed out in just three days. Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands rescued Fortis. England nationalized Bradford & Bingley. Belgium, France and Luxembourg saved Dexia. Iceland rescued Glitnir. Ireland took €400 billion of contingent liabilities onto the national balance sheet, when it stood behind the deposits and debts of its six large banks and building societies.

The “Bail Out Plan” consists of having the Treasury purchase approximately $800 billion of bad dept from both U.S. and foreign banks doing business in the United States. The Treasury would also be authorized to buy up securities backed by bad auto loans, student loans and credit card debts.   Unless God’s people are prepared like they were in the days of famine in Joseph’s time, you are going to see the American Middle Class dissolve into Third World living conditions.  This is the purpose of surfacing political candidates from both parties who espouse to varying degrees socialist economic policies.  Obama clearly has ideological ties to the Marxism espoused by the Weatherman and his plan for America is socialistic in nature.  But, the Republican Party essentially is offering a similar menu.  Remember both parties share in responsibility for the Meltdown. This clearly means the loss of personal, religious and economic freedoms in America.  Make no mistake about it.  Without God’s intervention you and your children are going to live in a radically different kind of America.  As I said in the title of my book, “Are You Ready?”

The “Bail Out” further globalizes America because we would then borrow from China, Japan and the Middle East.  When they own controlling interests in U.S. corporations you can be sure their will be control of domestic policy, law, and most importantly the American media. For example, when Saudi Arabian or investors from Dubai own American media conglomerates they will control news reporting when it comes to Islam, Israel and the Middle East. In order to secure this debt on the balance sheets of the banks of China, Japan and the Middle East, the U.S. taxpayer will ultimately pay for the “Bail Out.”  As suicidal as this sounds, the alternative is an economic collapse larger than the Great Depression.  Financial panic could create market collapse, wiping out pensions, 401Ks, portfolios and benefit plans for millions of Middle American’s that would drive millions into bankruptcy and force millions to continue to work beyond their retirement years millions more to put off retirement and continue working until they drop dead.

This “Bail Out” has already cost you the American taxpayer: $29 billion to rescue Bear Stearns so J.P. Morgan would buy the investment bank; $85 billion for 80 percent of AIG to nationalize it; $150 billion in a stimulus package to flood the nation with cash; perhaps $300 billion to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; and now $800 billion to begin taking the taking on the debts of major U.S. banks.

The question should be asked has God tried to warn His people before the crisis?

In June of 1998 David Wilkerson had a prophecy about an economic holocaust in America.  Here a few excerpts from that prophecy:

“For some time I have prophesied that America is about to be stricken with an economic holocaust. Now, lately, I've become convinced that one of two scenarios could take place. Here is one scenario::

“On the other hand, the stock market or bond markets may dive overnight with no rebound at all. If so, we would see a daily retreat among investors - because everyone will recognize America has been hit with a full-blown market crash. At that point, total panic will set in. And we'll know our nation has entered a period of divine judgment - because we'll take a precipitous, sudden slide into chaos”

David Wilkerson also had a vision of an economic crisis:

“And we're going into six months of the worst hell America has ever seen---there's going to be chaos---not even the National Guard's going to be able to quiet it down---we're going to have to call out the whole U.S. Army.

Now I've had visions recently, for I've been in New York City and I was in Macy's in a vision, and I saw people walking around stunned because they couldn't get their money out of the bank.

Now I'm going to give you a word of advice, the first country goes bankrupt---I've documented this and I've got it sealed in an envelope, and I'm going to call all my friends and I'm telling you---this is the first time I've said it in a public meeting like this---but the first country that bellies up, you go get every dime you have---church get your money out of the bank--because there's going to be a 'bank holiday' and you won't be able to get a dime for six months. Now, of course, there's going to be -restored, but the nation will never be like it is again.

There's going to be fear like we've never known---judgment at the door. When I was at Macy's Dept. store in a vision and I watched people walking around stunned, they didn't know what to do, they didn't know what was happening; then a bunch of people walked into Macy's and suddenly went wild and began to steal and within an hour everybody---I saw the spirit of everybody in the store---they were robbing and stealing---they raped Macy's and destroyed five floors---Macy's was raped and ruined in a period of an hour or two.

That's just the beginning. Folks it's all in this book (the bible) ---we've been warned and warned and warned---you can't tell me God hasn't warned us. You can't tell me God isn't saying something awesome here tonight in this church...we better get our prayer life straightened up, our lives straightened up, get rid of the idols, as Paul writes, and seeking the face of God in holiness or you're not going to be ready for what's coming. God's warning, get ready and you'll not fear these things that come onto you and you'll start rejoicing, you'll not be afraid because your hands will be clean. You've been praying and God's building a wall of fire around you to keep you."

We'd like to teach you a song about God's protection. It goes like this.: "There's a wall of fire around me...There's a wall of fire between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire that you can't see...Between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire around me. May it be so with us all..."

Wilkerson recently gave a sermon where he talked about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and revival as people come to Christ when the financial institutions are shaken Psalm 93:3 “The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the flood have lifted up their voice.  The floods lift up their waves.  The Lord on High is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.”

There appears to be a direct relationship between America’s treatment of Israel and our current financial crisis.  The stock market collapse on September 29, 2008, happened on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Condoleezza Rice has been flying continually to Israel to pressure Israel to give up land.  President George W. Bush president is calling for a Palestinian state, and for Israel to give up land.

 

In the Old Testament God warns that nations who try to divide Israel in the last days will be judged.  In Joel 3:2 the Lord says that He will "enter into judgment" against those nations that "have divided up My land.”

In terms of Bible prophecy, there appears to be an effort to use the financial crisis to create a global currency and a global economic system.  In 1961 the nation of New Zealand experienced its private corporations, government and economy being taken over by foreign investors as sort of an experiment in globalization. The Bank for International Settlements.The World Bank, and The International Monetary Fund began lending large sums of money to New Zealand for the purpose of experimenting with a transition from nationalism to globalism.

Despite the economic chaos, God is still on the throne.  You and I have been chosen for such a time as this.  God will provide for His people and He will provide for you.  There will be tremendous opportunities in the days ahead for God’s people.  God does not want His people to develop a “bunker mentality” or “hide out in the hills.”  Clearly, a shaking is coming.  But, God desires to open doors for His people on many levels.  These will be challenging times.  But, these are times to draw closer to the Lord.  Seek the face of God.  He will lead you and guide you.  Seek the face of God for your children.  He will lead them and guide them.  Do not stop education, prudent investment, building ministries or starting businesses.  “The diligent shall bear rule the slothful shall be under tribute.”  This is not a time for retreat, but for advance!

 EZEKIEL 38 STRIKE ON IRAN:  BEGINNING OF WAR OF GOG & MAGOG?

After threatening to strike Israeli and U.S. interests if attacked, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards test-fired nine missiles, including one that Tehran claims has the range to reach Israel.  Russia has invaded Georgia and has sent ships with nuclear missiles to Venezuela.  Russia has also sent arranged to help Cuba build a space station and construct nuclear “power plants” Venezuela.

Russia is rolling in cash by selling WMD’s and supplying Europe with oil.  There are so many billionaires living in Moscow that mansions are going up over night in brand new expensive enclaves for the “super-rich.”

The United States election is being watched carefully by Russia, Iran and other nations.  Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice continues to fly into Israel pressuring them into dividing up the land.  Coincidentally, our financial institutions are collapsing and our nation has been hit with hurricanes.  Are we coming to Ezekiel 38?

Iranian State-run media, said the tests near the Strait of Hormuz included long- and medium-range missiles, among them a new version of the Shahab-3, which Tehran maintains can hit targets 2,000 kilometers, or 1,250 miles, away.

The reported tests coincide with increasingly tense negotiations over Tehran's nuclear program, which Iran says is for civilian purposes but which many Western governments suspect is meant for building nuclear weapons.  At the same time, U.S. and British warships have been conducting naval maneuvers in the Gulf - apparently within range of the launch site of the missiles tested.  Iran’s Supreme Leader boasted that Iran will hit Tel Aviv, U.S. shipping in the Gulf and American interests around the world if it is attacked over its disputed nuclear activities.

"The first bullet fired by America at Iran will be followed by Iran burning down U.S. vital interests around the globe," the students news agency ISNA quoted Ali Shirazi as saying in a speech to Revolutionary Guards.  Many people in the United States, Israel, and European Union intelligence agencies and believe Iran is building nuclear weapons. Yet, Tehran says its nuclear energy program is peaceful.

"The Zionist regime is pressuring White House officials to attack Iran. If they commit such a stupidity, Tel Aviv and U.S. shipping in the Persian Gulf will be Iran's first targets and they will be burned," Shirazi was quoted as saying.  Shirazi, a mid-level cleric, is Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's representative to the Revolutionary Guards. "The Iranian nation will never accept bullying. The Iranian nation is a nation of believers which believes in jihad and martyrdom. No army in the world can confront it," he added.

In Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's spokesman, Mark Regev, refused to comment on the threat to hit Tel Aviv, saying only: "Shirazi's words speak for themselves."

 A number of years ago,  I had the privilege of interviewing Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in San Diego, at a private briefing held by Pastor Leo Giovenitti.  I asked Prime Minister Olmert directly about the threat of Iran, and the danger of “giving up land for peace.”  In fact, immediately before the Israeli-Lebanon war, Prime Minister Olmert sent me note that he had ready my book where I outlined the historical results of what happened when Israel gave up land for peace.  Despite his outward diplomacy, I believe Prime Minister Olmert, and Israel will no longer tolerate a threat to its survival in the form of a militantly Islamic-state of Iran whose leader continually threatens to destroy Israel. The term Jewish term “Never Again!” has fresh meaning for the nation of Israel whose very existence is threatened by a nuclear-Iran!

Seymour M. Hersh, writing in an article entitled “Preparing the Battlefield,” in the New Yorker Magazine, said, “Late last year, Congress agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a major escalation of covert operations against Iran, according to current and former military, intelligence, and congressional sources. These operations, for which the President sought up to four hundred million dollars, were described in a Presidential Finding signed by Bush, and are designed to destabilize the country’s religious leadership. The covert activities involve support of the minority Ahwazi Arab and Baluchi groups and other dissident organizations. They also include gathering intelligence about Iran’s suspected nuclear-weapons program.”

Many intelligence experts believe that President Bush may well want to strike Iran before he leaves term as President of the United States in 2009.  In fact, the Stratfor Intelligence Report published a briefing entitled “The War In Iraq Is Not Over,” by Dr. George Friedman.  In the analysis, Dr. Friedman argued that the United States has two fundamental reasons for invading Iraq.  First, “To transform the psychology of the Islamic world, which had perceived the United States as in essence weak, and unwilling to take risks to achieve its ends.”  Second, “To use Iraq as a strategic base of operations from which to confront Islamist regimes that are either incapable of or unwilling to deny al Qaeda and other Islamist groups access to enabling resources.” Dr. Friedman continued;

 “Iran: the extraordinarily complex game that Tehran is playing makes Syrian foreign policy transparent. Iran has positioned itself in such a way that its pro-Iranian Shiite groups in Iraq could wage a guerrilla war against the United States, while Tehran holds open the possibility of reaching implicit accommodations with the United States -- all at the same time. Iranian subtlety notwithstanding, Washington regards Iran as the single most potentially dangerous regime in the region, because of both its resources and the complexity of its politics and policies. Iran has positioned itself to be fundamentally unpredictable -- and having achieved this goal, it concerns the United States tremendously.”

The build-up of Iran’s nuclear weapons program continues to make Iran a threat to the nation of Israel, and the United States of America.”

To those of us who take Bible prophecy and the Bible literally the words of the Prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel Chapter 38 appear to be coming alive in our generation:

 “Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.  I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.  Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.
“Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many people’s with you.”
‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:  You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?  Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”  Thus says the Lord GOD: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them.

   
 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.  And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.  Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.”’

Although, the timing of Ezekiel Chapter 38 is a matter of debate among Bible scholars who hold to a Pre-Tribulation Rapture position.  The majority believe that Ezekiel Chapter 38 or the War of Gog and Magog happens after the Rapture of the Church.  However, there are some Bible scholars who believe that Ezekiel 38 is not part of the War of Armageddon, and therefore could occur before the revealing of the Antichrist, and the Rapture.  It is interesting to note that in either Eschatological time frame,  it clearly means we could be approaching the Seventieth Week of Daniel, or “the time of Jacob’s trouble.”  If Ezekiel Chapter 38 were to occur before the Rapture, this could signal the major defeat for militant Islam, and cause many people globally to turn to the God of the Bible.  If Ezekiel 38 happens after the Rapture of the Church, then we are on the verge of seeing a convergence of prophetic events occur.  These events include merging of the United States into a globalist Revived Roman Empire whose headquarters could be a high-tech Babylon in Iraq.

If you view the Bible literally, and not through some distorted grid of “pre-understanding,” than the Bible speaks clearly for itself.  It is God’s Word declaring the end from the beginning.  If the War of Gog and Magog were to occur before the Tribulation Period, or if we are moving quickly towards the Seventieth Week of Daniel.  In either scenario, it would be extremely important for us to understand the depth, and richness of God’s infallible Word.   God intends to magnify Himself, and reveal Himself to many nations through the fulfillment of the everlasting covenant He made with Abraham.

I would suggest that we are closer than we think, and that it would be incumbent upon us as believers to “study to show thyself approved,” regarding all scriptures, and especially the prophetic scriptures.
